"mind of fire on fire"

i was wondering you
while you were wondering me
when we started to talk
about everything

and i heard what you said
and you heard me too
and it sounded good then
but now i don't hear you

cause my mind is of fire
and my mind is on fire
   cause my mind is of fire
   and my mind is on fire

i was good-treating you
while you were good-treating me
when we realized we had
almost everything

then i heard it again
my lips an echo
i was holding you close
but then had to let go

cause my mind is of fire
and my mind is on fire
   cause my mind is of fire
   and my mind is on fire

there's a calling from
the wilderness
that takes me from the path

   but not to stray
   do i leave your side
   i go where i am needed

where the fallen tread
in darkness
and fear is all they have

   it's the right way
   they call and i ride
   for the path i am deeded

walk by the star and
be fearless
as the first and the last

   this is your day
   and i am your guide
   on truth i am seated  

and my mind is on fire
