see, the way I look at it, the stuff I wrote when I was, say 21, I can go on saying it was done when I was 21, no matter how many years of revisions follow. Because all it initially is is an emblem of attendance at a time-traveling writer's workshop, and the revising voice that comes to play is only what's needed to lay one out for the next crit.
